When the temperature of the heater becomes greater than the temperature of the surrounding, some of the heat is lost to the surroundings in the form of thermal radiations.
After some time, rate at which heat is being produced becomes equal to the rate of which heat is lost. Hence, the temperature of the element becomes constant.

Alternating current is considered advantageous over direct current. AC is suitable than DC for transmission of electric power over long distances without loss of energy. The basic reason is, alternating voltage can be stepped up or stepped down using a transformer.

Indiscriminate use of pesticides may result in the degradation of the environment. For example, DDT is an organic pesticide which is used to kill pests in crop fields. When it is used in large quantity it can be passed along the food chain from crops to man or other animals and birds and can harm them.

Gold and platinum don't react with almost any chemical . And aqua regia is the chemical mixture 1 . Hydrochloric acid and 3 parts of nitric acid this mixture can be dissolve gold and platinum . Thank you

John Pothen 5 years, 3 months ago

Aqua Regis(formed by 3 parts of nitric acid and 1 HCL)

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

Gold and Platinum belong to class of noble metals in the sense that gold and platinum do not react with almost any chemical reagent.
Aqua Regia is the chemical mixture which consists of 3 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid and 1 part of concentrated nitric acid and this mixture can dissolve gold and platinum. The reaction is as follows:

Au + HNO3 + 4 HCl → HAuCl4 + NO + 2 H2O

Taniya Khathuria 5 years, 3 months ago

"regal water" or "king's water" is a mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid, optimally in a molar ratio of 1:3. Aqua regia is a yellow-orange (sometimes red) fuming liquid, so named by alchemists because it can dissolve the noble metals, gold and platinum

The functional unit of the kidney responsible for excretion is the nephron . Each kidney contains about one million nephrons. The nephron has three primary regions that function in the renal excretion process: the glomerulus , proximal tubule, and the distal tubule. The kidneys remove urea and other wastes from the blood through tiny filtering units called nephrons. Nephrons (Figure below) are tiny, tube-shaped structures found inside each kidney. Each kidney has up to a million nephrons. Each nephron collects a small amount of fluid and waste from a small group of capillaries.

Regeneration is a type of asexual reproduction method. But it is not a true reproduction. In reproduction organisms give birth to young ones but in regeneration the cutted part of a body is regenerated.

A . 5 years, 3 months ago

Yeah it is asexual reproduction which take place in planaria tale of lizard

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 3 months ago

Regeneration is a type of asexual reproduction in which the organism is capable of regrowing certain body parts. Regeneration occurs via mitosis. Lizards can regenerate their tails, star fish can regenerate their arms while humans have the ability to regenerate their liver to a certain extent. Regeneration is considered as a method of reproduction because it is the ability of an organism to give rise new individual organism from their body parts.

Magnesium is a mineral that’s found naturally in many foods and in your body. However, as with most things, there are dangers associated with getting too much. A magnesium overdose can lead to what is technically known as hypermagnesemia. This is when there’s too much magnesium in your blood. It can occur in people with chronic health conditions, such as chronic kidney disease, although it’s rare.

A coil of current-carrying wire is otherwise known as a solenoid; it is often referred to as an electromagnet. ... The right diagram shows a cross-section of the same coil. The black circles represent where the current is flowing out of the coil and the black represent where it flows into the coils. The magnetic field around a current carrying coil is produced due to the current flowing through it. It is uniform throughout. It is just like the magnetic field of a bar magnet. If needles of a magnetic compass are arranged around the coil, they will arrange themselves in North to South direction.

Cheap and affordable credit is crucial for the country's development due to the following factors:

  • More lending would lead to higher incomes and encourage people to invest in agriculture, engage in business and set up small scale industries.
  • Cheap credit means more income would be left with the borrower to reinvest rather than return as interest. This leads to acceleration of economic activity.
  • Cheap credit would also allow weaker sections of society to enter formal sector of lending and rid them of exploitation at the hands of informal moneylenders. Thus, it may improve the economic condition of the poor and landless.
