The reaction in which oxygen combines with other elements or compounds is known as an oxidation reaction. For example, burning of hydrogen is an oxidation process in which hydrogen combines with oxygen to form water.
2H2(g) + O2 (g) → 2H2O
Oxidation reactions are exothermic.

Series Combination:
Advantages:
1. Series circuits do not overheat easily. This makes them very useful in the case of something that might be around a potentially flammable source, like dry plants or cloth.
2. Series circuits are easy to learn and to make. Their simple design is easy to understand, and this means that it’s simple to conduct repairs .
3. we can add more power devices, they have a higher output in terms of voltage .
4. The current that flows in a series circuit has to flow through every component in the circuit. Therefore, all of the components in a series connection carry the same current.

Electron-dot structure : It shows the bonding between the atoms of a molecule and it also shows the unpaired electrons present in the molecule.
As we know that, carbon has '4' valence electrons, hydrogen has '1' valence electron, sulfur and oxygen has '6' valence electrons and fluorine has '7' valence electrons.
Therefore, the total number of valence electrons in ethanoic acid, = 2(4) + 2(6) + 6(1) = 26

Electricity is the movement of charge from one place to another place. movement of charges requires a medium. Acids in aqueous solution mean acid in water also called diluted acids. The polar nature of water splits the acid molecules into its cations and anions. Cations and anions are charged particles and are free to move inside the aqueous medium. As a result when a potential difference has applied the solution to conduct electricity.

Pollination
Transfer of pollen grains from anther to stigma is termed as Pollination. This transfer of pollen grains occurs with the help of pollinating agents like wind, water, insects, birds etc.
There are 2 types of pollination:
- Self pollination
-
- Transfer of pollen grains from anther to stigma of the same flower
- Seen in leguminous plants like pea
- Cross pollination
-
- Transfer of pollen grains from anther of one plant to stigma of the another plant
- Seen in large number of plants like onions, broccoli etc..

Incorrect DNA copying or DNA replication during cell division can severly affect the reproduction process. Hence DNA is responsible for every activity from dna copying to protein formation. If protein failed to fold due to mutation then several neurodegenrative disease can occur. Incorrect DNA copying can lead to variations. In this proteins formed are different from the parent and this results in the change in characters in the offspring. This is only due to these variations that evolution occurs.

A granum (plural grana) is a stack of thylakoid discs. Chloroplasts can have from 10 to 100 grana. Grana are connected by stroma thylakoids, also called intergranal thylakoids or lamellae. Grana thylakoids and stroma thylakoids can be distinguished by their different protein composition. Primary purpose of grana is not to allow regulation of light harvesting A second, and related, hypothesis for the function of grana is that they allow regulation of light harvesting and, particularly, control of the balance of energy flow between Photosystem II and Photosystem I.
