  1. Draw a line segment AB of length 5cm.
  2. Taking B as point Construct an angle of measure 60o using a compass.
  3. Name the angle as angle ABX.
  4. Draw a line EF at a height of 3 cm such that it is parallel to the line segment AB. It must intersect ray BX at point C. Now join AC.
  5. Draw CD perpendicular to AB. CD is altitude of triangle ABC having height 3cm.

the diameter of the circle , show that ∆APB is equilateral. Report by Abinaya20 01.04.2017 Answers THE BRAINLIEST ANSWER! swathika23 Swathika23 Ace ∠OAP = 90°(PA and PB are the tangents to the circle.) In ΔOPA, sin ∠OPA = OA/OP = r/2r [OP is the diameter = 2*radius] sin ∠OPA = 1 /2 = sin 30 ⁰ ∠OPA = 30° Similarly, ∠OPB = 30°. ∠APB = ∠OPA + ∠OPB = 30° + 30° = 60° In ΔPAB, PA = PB (tangents from an external point to the circle) ⇒∠PAB = ∠PBA ............(1) (angles opp.to equal sides are equal) ∠PAB + ∠PBA + ∠APB = 180° [Angle sum property] ⇒∠PAB + ∠PAB = 180° – 60° = 120° [Using (1)] ⇒2∠PAB = 120° ⇒∠PAB = 60° .............(2) From (1) and (2) ∠PAB = ∠PBA = ∠APB = 60° all angles are equal in an equilateral triangle.( 60 degrees) ΔPAB is an equilateral triangle hope it helps!!!!

D=b2- 4ac=0 (-2k)2 -4(k)(6)=0 (4k)2-4k(6)=0 16k2-24k=0 16k2=24k K=6

Amaresh Basu 6 years, 9 months ago

Kx (x-2)+6=0 => kx^2-2kx+6=0 Now this equation has equal roots Therefore D=0 =>b^2-4ac=0 =>(-2k)^2-4×k×6=0 =>4k^2-24k=0 =>4k (k-6)=0 =>k=0 or k=6

Let root 7 be a rational number Then root 7 is equal to p upon q where p and q are coprime integers and q is not equals to zero........ By squaring both sides.... 7=p²/q²........ q²=p²/7 If 7 divides p² 7 also divides p..... Let p=7c...... q²=49c²/7......... q²=7c²......... q²/7=c²...... If 7 q² then 7 also divides q...... Hence p and q are not coprime integers..... Our assumption was wrong that √7 is a rational number........ Root 7 is not a rational number..... Root 7 is an irrational number

Affu 😊 6 years, 9 months ago

Let speed of car a be x and speed of car b be y , speed = distance/ time = 100/5 = 20 and again 100/1= 100 , then car travel in same direction , x-y= 20 -----(i) and the car travel toward each other , x+y=100 -----(ii) then slove both equation and the answer is the peed of car a is 60 and the speed of car b is 40
