Let we asume that √3 is rational i.e it can be qritten as a/b. √3=a/b(where a and b are co prime ). squaring on both sides. (√3)square=(a/b) square. 3= a square/b square. 3b square=a square______(1). 3 divides a square so 3 divides a also. a=3c_____________(2). from 1 and 2 equation. 3c square=3b square 3c square=b square. __________(3) 3divides b square so 3 divides b also. from 2 and 3 wquation it is proved that 3 is a common factor of a and b,which is a contradiction of our assumption this is due ti our wrong assumption .Si √3 is irrational number

I myself got the answer.... Here is it .......... The common difference between the terms would always be equal.... i.e. =a2-a1=a3-a2 =c-b=2b-c =2c=3b =b/c=2/3 Hence the ratio is b:c=2:3.....

This statement is false because
CONGRUENT SHAPES are figures with the same size and shape. The lengths of the sides and the measures of the angles are identical. They're exact copies, even if one is oriented differently.
SIMILAR SHAPES are figures with the same shape but not always the same size.

So now put all the values of a and d... Then... We will get the equation... 636= 5n +4n² after that u have to factorise u will get two value first in negative and second will in positive so put positive term which is........... 12.... ????

Volume of cylinder = π( 4)² ×10

= 160π cm³

volume of one cone = 1/3 × π × 3² ×4
= 12π cm ³

therefore,
volume of both cones = 24π cm³

therefore,

volume of remaining portion = 160π - 24 π

= 136π cm ³

Question: Thirty women were examined in a hospital by a doctor and their of heart beats per minute were recorded and summarised as shown. Find the mean heart beats per minute for these women, choosing a suitable method. Number of heart beats/minute 65-68 68-71 71-74 74-77 77-80 80-83 83-86 Number of women 2 4 3 8 7 4 2

Answer:

From the table : Σfiui = 4  , Σfi = 30

Let the assumed mean, A = 75.5,  h = 3

MEAN = A + h ×(Σfiui /Σfi)

MEAN = 75.5  + 3 (4/30)

= 75.5 + 4/10

= 75.5 + ⅖

= 75.5 + 0.4

Mean = 75.9
