This is related to concept of numbers in the unit digits place of the power of natural number.

The power of 6 any index repetation 6

i.e (6)(anypower................)  the last digit will be 6 only.

Example

1) 61=6

2) 62 = 36

3) 6= 216

So, the last digit in the expansion of 6100 is 6.

In the substitution method you solve for one variable, and then substitute that expression into the other equation. The important thing here is that you are always substituting values that are equivalent. For example: Sean is 5 years older than four times his daughter's age.

Shakti Singh Rathore 5 years, 1 month ago

A way to solve a linear system algebraically is to use the substitutions method.

ANSWER:- P(E) = 0.85 P( not E) = 1- P(E) P( not E) = 1 - 0.85 P( not E) =0.15 Therefore, probability that it will not rain tomorrow is 0.15....

Jhanvi Pawar 5 years, 1 month ago

0.15

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 1 month ago

Let E be the event of happening of rain

P(E) is given as 0.85

E¯ ⟶ not happening of rain

P(E¯) = 1 – P(E) = 1 – 0.85 = 0.15

∴ P(not happening of rain) = 0.15

b=2a

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago

2x + 3y = 7
2ax + (a + b) y = 28
If two equations has infinite solutions, then,
a1 / a2 = b1 / b2 = c1 /c2
2 / 2a = 3 / a+b = -7 / -28
1/a = 3/a+b = 1/4
Now,
1/a = 1/4
a = 4
And
3/a+b = 1/4
12 = 4 + b
12 - 4 = b
b = 8
Thus,
a = 4
b = 8

So, b = 2a

( 17 x 11 x 2 ) + ( 17 x 11 x 5 )
By taking ( 17 x 11 ) common ,
= ( 17 x 11 ) ( 2 + 5 )
= ( 17 x 11 ) ( 7 )
= 17 x 11 x 7.
If any number can be represented in the form of product of prime numbers then that number is composite number.
Hence , ( 17 x 11 x 2 ) + ( 17 x 11 x 5 ) is a composite number.

HCF is 6 and LCM is 3780

Shambhu Shinde 5 years, 1 month ago

Prime factors of 378=2*3*3*3*7 Prime factors of 180=2*2*3*3*5 Prime factors of 420=2*2*3*5*7 So, hcf of 378,180,420 is 2*3=6 LCM of 348,180,420 is 2*2*3*3*3*5*7=3780

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 1 month ago

A n s w e r

Prime factors of 378 = 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 7
Prime factors of 180 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5
Prime factors of 420 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 × 7
So, HCF of 378, 180 and 420 is 2 × 3 = 6
And LCM of 378, 180 and 420 is 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7 = 3780

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the zeros of the polynomial be α and 1\α

We have=

To know :

Polynomial is an expression which consists of variables and coefficients in an expression

For example 7x+1, 3x+1/6

A polynomial involves only the operations must be addition, subtraction and multiplication

Polynomials occurs in many aspects of mathematics and science concepts.

Here In mathematics it is used a polynomial equations.

Product of zeros=c/a                                               [c=k a=1]

α x 1\α  =k/1 [ roots of the polynomial is given by alpha and beta]

1. Form the pair of linear equations in the following problems, and find their solutions graphically.

(i) 10 students of Class X took part in a Mathematics quiz. If the number of girls is 4 more than the number of boys, find the number of boys and girls who took part in the quiz.

(ii) 5 pencils and 7 pens together cost 50, whereas 7 pencils and 5 pens together cost 46. Find the cost of one pencil and that of one pen.

Solution:

(i)Let there are x number of girls and y number of boys. As per the given question, the algebraic expression can be represented as follows.

x +y = 10

x– y = 4

Now, for x+y = 10 or x = 10−y, the solutions are;

For x – y = 4 or x = 4 + y, the solutions are;

The graphical representation is as follows;
