The maintenance of health and fitness helps a person to be in the general state of health and well-being. It provides ability to perform physical actions without being tired or restless. It is very necessary for all to maintain their health and fitness in order to be fit, healthy, fearless of diseases, and get so many other benefits. There are many legends or stories about the discovery and origin of tea. According to a story, the tea was discovered in China. The Chinese Emperor used to drink boiled water. Once while boiling it, few leaves of a twig burning under the pot fell into it. The Emperor found the flavour delicious. Those were later named as tea leaves. Another legend says that an ancient Buddhist ascetic, Bodhidharma, cut off his eyelids when he felt sleepy during meditation. Ten tea plants grew out of his eyelids. Thus, the tea was discovered.

Without freedom life is worse than hell.  

Life is all about man attaining freedom. In the past man lived in various types of slaveries. In the Stone Age he strove to achieve freedom ignorance. He learnt to make fire, shelters, clothes, etc. Then with the formation of human societies, various ills such as discrimination on the basis of caste, color, creed, and financial status arose. Then men fought for political, social, and financial freedom.  

Nelson Mandela had to fight war against racial discrimination. He felt choked as he grew up. He had to face discrimination at almost every step. Finally, his struggle bore fruit; he created history when he was elected as the president of South Africa. It is for freedom that he dedicated his life.  

Similarly man’s quest for total freedom is going on. Challenges such as fatal diseases, pollution, advancement of science and technology stand as unconquerable mountains in front of him. Man must work harder to be free of all types of bondages. Only then he can say he is truly free. He is busy making strategies to overcome them. Freedom is essential for man’s happiness. Without it man’s life is meaningless.  

Lencho became angry when he received the letter because he was only given 70 pesos when he had asked for 100 pesos.

He thought that god would not deny him his wish and hence concluded that someone at the post office must have stolen the money before delivering it to him

The hack driver seemed to be a simple countryman at first appearance and was ready to help the narrator. The lawyer was in search of Lutkin and hence the hack driver took him to various places where he might find Lutkin. The next day the case came up in the court. As he was unable to find Lutkins, the lawyer was asked to go back to New Mullion with a man who had worked with Lutkins. The lawyer got shocked to find that the hack driver himself was Lutkin. He felt humiliatedand learnt not to be hasty in judging a person.

Bill told the lawyer that Lutkins was a hard fellow to catch . He was always up to something or the other. He owed money to many people, including Bill, and had never even paid anybody a cent. He also said that Oliver played a lot of poker and was good at deceiving people.

Lencho's soul was filled with sadness. The hailstorm had affected the corn fields very badly. He lamented that even a plague of locusts would have left more than what was left after the hail storm. He said that they would not have any corn that year. They worked so hard throughout the year but all in vain. 

Since the seagull was hungry too much, he was . compelled to attempt his first flight in order to get food. He was successful. This is when he got over his fear flying over the sea.

Central Idea of The Ball Poem is - The poet watches a young boy playing with his ball. The next minute, his ball rolls away from him and fall into the water of the harbor. As the boy watches his ball disappear, he can also feel his childhood slip away from him. He feels himself growing up very fast as he learns that loss is a part of everyday life and that life goes on despite it. The sight of the sad little boy pains the poet, but he knows that growing up is an unavoidable process

This description of Oliver's state and his acceptance of it is a telling Oliver however does not realise the true nature of their activities.

Lencho has complete faith in God. It can be inferred from the following sentences:-

• But in the hearts of all who lived in that solitary house in the middle of the valley, there was a single hope: help from God.
• Don’t be so upset, even though this seems like a total loss. Remember, no one dies of hunger.
• All through the night, Lencho thought only of his one hope: the help of God, whose eyes, as he had been instructed, see everything, even what is deep in one’s conscience.
