Yes , I would like to become invisible. It can be an exciting idea for most people. Like two facets of a coin, invisibility can have many advantages and disadvantages. For a child, invisibility may mean a licence for all kinds of pranks without getting caught. Like a Hindi movie, invisibility can help you beat all the villains black and blue and get rid of them. Once you become invisible, nobody would notice you. Within no time, the sadness of isolation will take over the excitement of being invisible. You will have no friend. You will tend to behave like the eccentric scientist in this story.

Mrs pumphrey,a rich and lonely woman,is the owner of the dog tricki ,whom she was spoilt with her over-pampering and excessive feeding. She shows her love for tricki by overfeeding him and sparing him any form of physical exertion . She treated her pet dog, tricki, as her own child. She loved her dog very much.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

Mrs. Pumphrey was a rich lady who had a small pet dog named Tricki. She was foolishly indulgent and would pamper the dog by giving him chocolates, cakes, juice, eggs and wine. She was ignorant and did not know that the dog needed exercise also.

Margot was Anne's elder sister. These lines display her humorous and fun-loving nature.

This statement shows that Anne was a fun-loving person. She was witty and knew how to present things in a funny way. She narrated this incident with a lot of fun. The use of ‘plunked down’ shows her sense of humour.

Anne Frank was undoubtedly not only a great writer but also a wonderful individual. However what makes her diary and her writing exceptional is the circumstances in which it was penned.

You are running for your life from an entire government hell bent on getting you and your entire community killed. You have to hide in an attic apartment with two other families with constant fear of getting caught, murdered or worst - thrown in a ghetto and tortured. In my opinion what makes her writing and her diary exceptional is the fact that it is a story of a girl who refused to let go of her principals just because the circumstances made it hard to hold on to them. It is exceptional because it is a document of a time when men and women and children survived beating impossible obstacles.

What I absolutely adored about her was the clarity of her thoughts. She was opinionated but she was not biased. Add in the fact that her ideas and way of living was far ahead than her contemporaries.

I need to have something besides and a children to devote myself to! I don’t want to have lived in vain like most people. I want to be useful or bring enjoyment to all people I have never met.

The young lady thought in volumes. We all know how tiring and stressful teenage years can get. And to live in circumstances like she did- devoid of normal childhood and teenage years and yet to not let it affect your spirits is in itself comendable .

She was an exceptional human being. And she was an exceptional writer

Subject: Regarding nuisance of loudspeakers during exams

Sir,

Through your esteemed daily I want to draw the attention of the authorities concerned that nowadays the examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan is going on. The loud-speakers keep blaring throughout the night due to which we are unable to prepare ourselves for the examination since the noise interferes in our studies. If these loudspeakers continue to create a disturbance, we may fail in the examination. It is, therefore, earnestly requested to put a ban against the use of loudspeakers during our examination days. I hope that the authorities concerned will pay attention to solve this problem of the students.

Yours faithfully
Hari Singh

The young seagulls family tried every possible method to encourage him to fly. They cajoled him and even scolded him but to no avail. Finally, they decided to leave him hungry on the ledge for some time. Finally, his mother took a bold but seemingly cruel step. She flew close to the ledge with a scrap of fish in her beak. That made the young seagull fall from the ledge while trying to get the fish. In fright, he opened his wings and then found that he was able to fly. Thus, the purpose was served.
