In a secular nation, people have the freedom to choose, practice and propagate their religion. The country does not have any official religion and neither the government nor any private institution discriminates among the people on the basis of religion.
India is a secular nation as it has no state religion. The government neither encourages nor discourages any religion. People are free to choose and practice their religion. The Government of India treats people of all religions with equal respect.

Bastar is located in souther most part of the State of Chhattisgarh and has a common border with Andhra Pradesh, Orrisa and Maharashtra. When Colonial government brought about the Forest Act, the people of Bastar started worrying. There was a terrible famine in 1899 and again in 1907. Actually the rebellion of Bastar was caused by combination of many factors. These included displacement from own land, increased land rent and demand for free labour and goods. The major reason behind the rebellion was the attitude of the British government which wanted to subjugate the local people and destroy their way of living by taking over their lands.
The British government proposed the reservation of two-third area of the forest and they banned the shifting cultivation, hunting and collection of forest produce that was done by the local people of Bastar..
Those who were allowed to stay in the reserved forest had to do labour work for the Forest Department.
People began to gather to discuss the village issues. Secret messages were passed inviting the villagers to rebel against British government
Every villager contributed something for the rebellion expenses.
Bazaars were looted, the houses of officials, police stations and schools were burnt. All those people who were attacked by the rebels, were associated with the Colonial Government and its laws.
The British ultimately put the rebellion down by employing heavy force.
It took three months for the British Government to take control of the situation.
The work on reservation was temporarily suspended. The area to be reserved was reduced to half.

1.Preparation of voter 's list In a democratic election, the list of those who are eligible to vote is prepared much before the election and given to everyone.this list is officially called the Electoral Roll and is commonly known as the Voter 's list .
2. Nomination of candidates
The only difference is that in order to be a candidate the minimum age is 25 while it is only 18 years for being a voter. Every person who wishes to contest an election has to fill a 'nomination form ' and give some money as 'security deposit '
3. Election Campaign
It is necessary to have a free and fare and open discussion about who is a better representative ,which party will make a better govt. or what is a good policy. This is what happens during the election campaign.
4. Polling and counting of votes
The final stage of an election is the day when the voter 's cast or "poll" their vote. Every person whose name is on the voters list can go to a nearby "polling booth" situated usually in a local school or a govt. office.

Youth in Nazi Germany were subjected to intense Nazi ideology (hatred, aggression, violence, etc.) both in and out of school and in youth organisations which they were forced to join.
i. The 10-year-olds had to join 'Jungvolk' and 14-year-olds 'Hitler Youth'.
ii. Children were segregated from 'undesirables', school textbooks were rewritten and racial science introduced to justify Nazi ideas on race.
iii. Children were taught to be loyal, submissive, hate Jews and worship Hitler. Stereotypes about Jews were popularised through various subjects and deceptive use of propaganda.
iv. In youth organisations, youth learnt to glorify aggression, worship war, condemn democracy, and hate the 'undesirables'.
v. At 18 years, they had to join compulsory military service, were recruited into labour service and required to enroll in one of the Nazi organisations.
vi. The Nazi hold on the youth was total and fanatical in its makeup.

- People do not get the permitted amount of food grains from the Fair price shop.
- Diversion of Food grains by Fair Price Shops holder and mediator.
- Many times, good quality food grains are replaced with poor quality cheap food grains.
- Public distribution system includes only few food grains such as wheat and rice, it does not fulfil the requirement of complete nutrition.
- Uneven distribution of Food generations, procurement and distribution. For example: north eastern states are very far from Punjab and Haryana, from where wheat is procured. To transport food grains from Punjab to far flung areas in North east will entail cost and time both

The inflow of the south-west monsoon into India is such that the windward side of the Western Ghats receives very heavy rainfall, more than 250 cm. The rain shadow region receives scanty rainfall and the moisture laden clouds shed the maximum rainfall of this season in the north-eastern part of the country. Thus, Mawsynram in the southern ranges of the Khasi Hills receives the highest average rainfall in the world. Rainfall in the Ganga valley decreases from the east to the west. Hence, Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat which are on the western get scanty rainfall.
