The Social, economic and political conditions in Russia before 1905 was backward:

Social Conditions: 85% of Russia's population was agriculturist. The industries were there, but rarely they were privately owned. Workers were divided on the basis of their occupation. They mainly migrated to cities for employment in factories. The peasant community was deeply religious but did not care much about the nobility. They believed that land must be divided amongst themselves.

Economic Condition: Russia was going through a bad period economically. Prices of essential good rise while real wages decreased by 20% leading to the famous St. Petersburg strike. This strike started a series of events that are together known as the 1905 Revolution. During this revolution, there were strikes all over the country, universities closed down, and various professionals and workers established the Union of Unions, demanding the establishment of a constituent assembly.

Political Condition: Political parties were illegal before 1914. The Russian Social Democratic Workers Party was founded in 1898 by socialists who respected Marx’s ideas. In 1903, this party was divided into two groups - Mensheviks and Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks, who were in majority, were led by Lenin who is regarded as the greatest thinker on socialism after Marx.

The ‘Green Revolution’ was introduced in India, in the late 1960s. Indian farmers used it for the production of major food crops like wheat and rice. They made use of the High Yielding Variety seeds, which produced much greater yield than the traditional seeds. However, they needed plenty of water, chemical fertilisers and pesticides to produce best results.

Small general stores in the village sell a wide range of items like rice, wheat, sugar, oil, biscuits, soap, batteries, candles, toothpaste, pens, pencils, notebooks, and even some clothes.
Some families whose houses are closer to the bus stand have used a part of the space to open small shops. They sell eatables here.
Transport:
Rickshawallahs, tongawallahs, jeep, tractor, truck drivers and people driving the traditional bullock carts and bogeys are the people in transport services.
They carry people and goods from one place to another and in return get paid for it.

Self-employed:
Some people have opened coaching institutes for various kinds of arts like computer training centres or stitching classes, etc. to obtain profit from a non-farm activity and train more and more people for better opportunities in their lives.

The passes across the mountains in the north have provided passages to the ancient travellers. These routes have contributed in the exchange of ideas and commodities since ancient times. The ideas of Upanishads, Ramayana, the stories of Panchtantra, the Indian numerals and the decimal system could thus, reach many parts of the world. The spices, muslin and other merchandise were taken from India to different countries. On the other hand, influence of Greek sculpture, their architectural styles of domes and minarets can be seen in India.

The incidents leading to the outbreak of the revolution were:-
(i) Meeting of the Estates General: On 5 May 1789, Louis XVI called for a meeting to propose new taxes. Representatives of all the three estates reached there, but members of the third estate had to stand at the back, as they were not offered any seat. Peasants, artisans and women were denied entry to the assembly.
(ii) Demand for Universal Adult Franchise: Members of the third estate demanded the power for each member to vote. When the King rejected the demand, members of the third estate walked out of the assembly to protest.
(iii) Meeting of the newly formed National Assembly: Since the percentage of the third estate was more, they considered themselves as spokesmen for the whole French nation. They assembled in an indoor tennis court of Versailles and declared themselves as the 'National Assembly'. They believed in removing the feudal privileges of the nobles and clergy.
(iv) Revolt by peasants: The countryside rumours spread from village to village that their ripe crops would be destroyed by hired bands of lords of manors. Peasants in several districts seized hoes and attacked the residences of their manors. They looted, hoarded grain and burnt down documents containing records of manorial dues.
(v) Fall of Bastille prison: During this political turmoil, the French had experienced severe winters leading to bad harvest. It increased the price of bread, which was hoarded in the market. Angry women attacked the shops. At the same time, the King ordered troops to move into Paris. On 14 July 1789, the agitated crowd stormed and destroyed the Bastille prison.

After the downfall of the monarchy in Russia in February 1917, the Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin returned to Russia from his exile in April 1917. He felt that it was time for Soviets to take over power. He put three demands which were known as Lenin's 'April Theses'. They were:
(i) The war (First World War) be brought to an end.
(ii) Land be transferred to the peasants.
(iii) The banks be nationalised.
When Lenin came to power he became active to bring changes Banks were nationalised in November, 1917. This meant that the government took over ownership and management. Land was declared social property and peasants were allowed to seize the land of the nobility. In March 1918, despite opposition by their political allies, the Bolsheviks made peace with Germany at Brest Litovsk.

The Nazis established probably the most evil and barbaric regime in all of human history.

1. The Nazis were motivated by the vision of establishing a racial utopia in Europe. In this vision, only the Aryan people were fit to live. Other people like the Jews and the Eastern Europeans were unfit to live and should be killed.

2. To realize this vision, the Nazis started a systematic plan to kill such people. They started  murdering Jews and the Slavic people of Eastern Europe in mass shootings in the occupied areas of Eastern Europe and Russia. When the rate of killing proved insufficient to satisfy the murderous intentions of the Nazis, they built extermination camps with gas chambers in the occupied territories. Jews were brought to these chambers from all over Europe under inhuman conditions from all over Europe. Once they arrived, the Jews were either made to work till death in the camps or immediately killed in the gas chambers using poison gas.   This policy of extermination of innocent people by the Nazis has come to known as the Holocaust.

3. Apart from murdering innocent people, the Nazis also instituted an extensive programme of slave labour. Civilians in the captured territories were made to work in inhuman conditions to fuel the German economy and war machine. They were forced to work in German industries and in the manufacture of armaments. Thousands of people died working under such enslaved conditions.

Extra explanation:

The difference between folding and faulting is that folding is the pressure of converging plates causing the crust to fold and buckle, resulting in the creation of mountains and hills and faulting is where cracks in the earth's rock are created because of different movement of tectonic plates.
