- Zeroes of a polynomial p(x) is real number ‘a’ for which polynomial p(x) if p(a) = 0.
- E.g.: For p(x) = x-2 , p(2) = 2-2 =0. Thus 2 is zeroes for polynomial p(x)= x-2
- Note: Every real number is a zero of the zero polynomial p(x)=0.
- There is no Zero for polynomial p(x)=8.
- Zeroes of a polynomial is special. It is used to find factors of equation p(x)=0.

Soil Erosion is one form of soil degradation. It occurs in almost all types of lands. Flowing water, rainwater, and the wind are the prime agents which cause a significant amount of soil loss each year. Too much of soil erosion causes serious loss of topsoil and also reduces crop production potential, lower surface water quality, and damaged drainage networks.

The set of natural numbers, denoted N, can be defined in either of two ways: N = {0, 1, 2, 3, ...} ... The set N, whether or not it includes zero, is a denumerable set. Natural Numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,... [...] and Whole numbers are 0,1,2,3,... ... In mathematics, a natural number is either a positive integer (1, 2, 3, 4, ...) or a non-negative integer (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ...).

To find a square root of a number without a calculator, see if you can get to that whole number by squaring smaller numbers, or multiplying a smaller number by itself. If the number is a perfect square, you will get a whole number as the square root. First, divide the number you're trying to find the square root of by the average. Then, find the average of that number and the original average by adding them together and dividing by 2. For example, first you would divide 7, the number you started with, by 2.16, the average you calculated, and get 3.24.
