1. Force is a push or a pull that changes or tends to change the state of rest or uniform motion of an object or changes the direction or shape of an object. It causes objects to accelerate. SI unit is Newton.

2. The force acting on per unit area of a surface is called pressure. We can say force per unit area is called pressure.
                                                              Pressure = Force / Area

4. Muscular force:
(i) Force due to the action of muscles is called muscular force. We can say force resulting because of action of muscle is called muscular force.
(ii) Muscular force is applied only after interaction with the object.
Examples:
(a) When we push the object like school bag or lift the bucket of water we use the muscular force.
(b) Animals also use of muscular force to carry out their task.

5.  Gravitational Force:
(i) Gravitation force is exerted by earth, moon, sun and other planets to others.

Historians use sources like: manuscripts, rock pillars and tablets,scripts on palm leaves, monuments, official documents preserved by British, etc. Ultimately, they use literary and archaeological sources.
The British felt that the act of writing was important, so, they kept written official records. These documents were required to be preserved for future use, so, they built rooms next to administrative offices for keep their documents. Specialised institutions like: museums and archives were also introduced for the same.

The trapezium is further categorised into three different types namely

  • Isosceles trapezium – The legs or the non-parallel sides of the trapezium are of equal length
  • Scalene Trapezium – A trapezium with all the sides and angles of different measures
  • Right Trapezium – A right trapezium has at least two right angles

Let the 1st part be x
2nd part be 40-x
A/Q. (3/4)x=(3/8)×(40-x)
=>(3/4)x =(120-3x)/8
=>24x =480-12x
=>24x+12x =480
=>36x =480
=>x =480/36
=>x =13.33
Therefore 1st part =13.33
2nd part =40-13.33=26.67
