ANSWER We have, HE=6cm. EL=4.5cm. ∠H=60o ∠E=105o ∠P=120o We shall find the fourth angle first. Sum of all the angles of a quadrilateral=360o ∴∠L=360o=(60o+105o+120o) ∠L=750o Step (1):-first draw base HE=6cm. Step (2):- Construct ∠H=60o Step (3):- Construct ∠E=105o On this line of ∠E cut an arc at 4.5 cm. Step(4):- Construct ∠L=75o Complete figure.

5(y-1)=3(2y-5)-(1-3y)

5y - 5 = 3(2y) - 3 (5) - 1 + 3y

5y - 5 = 6y - 15 - 1 + 3y

5y - 5 = 9y - 16

5y - 9y = - 16 + 5

- 4y = - 11

y = 11/4

9-2( x-5)=x+10

9 - 2x + 10 = x + 10

-2x + 19 = x + 10

-2x - x = 10 - 19

-3x = - 9

x = 9/3 = 3

A rational number, in Mathematics, can be defined as any number which can be represented in the form of p/q where q ≠ 0. Also, we can say that any fraction fits under the category of rational numbers, where the denominator and numerator are integers and the denominator is not equal to zero. When the rational number (i.e., fraction) is divided, the result will be in decimal form, which may be either terminating decimal or the repeating decimal.

Example: 12/17, 9/11 and 3/5 are positive rational numbers

  • Rectangle is a four sided-polygon, having all the internal angles equal to 90 degrees. The two sides at each corner or vertex, meet at right angles. The opposite sides of the rectangle are equal in length which makes it different from a square.
  • Square is a quadrilateral in which all its sides have equal length and all the four corners are right angles.
  • diagonal is a line segment connecting two non-consecutive vertices of a polygon.

Perimeter of square = 4 × side Area of square = Side × Side Perimeter of triangle = 3 × side Area of Triangle = 1/2 × base × height Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth ) Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 4 months ago

peremetre of square = 4 side

area of square =  side × side

Perimeter of triangle = addition of three sides of triangle

Area of trianlge = 1/2 × base × height

Perimeter  of rectanlge = 2L + 2B

 area of rectangle = length × breadth

Here is your answer...
Given is Time = 2 years
Amount=₹1800
Principal = ₹1250
Rate = ?
The formula to calculate amount is
=A = P(1 + R/100)T
=1800 = 1250 × (1+ R/100)2
=1800/1250 = (1+ R/100)2
=√(36/25) = 1+ R/100
=6/5 - 1 = R/100
=1/5 × 100 = R
=20 = R
Therefore, the rate is 20%.

Let the CP is given by Rahul be x. Gain% = 10% SP = CP(_100 + gain%_)/100 SP = x( 100+ 10)/100 SP = 110x/ 100 According to question, SP of Rahul = CP of Sohan Then, CP of Sohan = 110x/ 100 Loss%= 10% SP = CP(100 - loss%)/100 = 110x / 100( 100 - 10)/100 = 110x / 100 * 90/ 100 99x/100 According to question, CP of Sohan = CP of Mohan CP of Mohan = 99x/100 Also Mohan paid for it Rupees 990 Therefore, 99x/ 100 = 990 x= 990*100/99 x= Rs 1000 So Rahul paid for the watch is Rs 1000.
