5(y-1)=3(2y-5)-(1-3y)
5y - 5 = 3(2y) - 3 (5) - 1 + 3y
5y - 5 = 6y - 15 - 1 + 3y
5y - 5 = 9y - 16
5y - 9y = - 16 + 5
- 4y = - 11
y = 11/4

9-2( x-5)=x+10
9 - 2x + 10 = x + 10
-2x + 19 = x + 10
-2x - x = 10 - 19
-3x = - 9
x = 9/3 = 3

A rational number, in Mathematics, can be defined as any number which can be represented in the form of p/q where q ≠ 0. Also, we can say that any fraction fits under the category of rational numbers, where the denominator and numerator are integers and the denominator is not equal to zero. When the rational number (i.e., fraction) is divided, the result will be in decimal form, which may be either terminating decimal or the repeating decimal.
Example: 12/17, 9/11 and 3/5 are positive rational numbers

- A Rectangle is a four sided-polygon, having all the internal angles equal to 90 degrees. The two sides at each corner or vertex, meet at right angles. The opposite sides of the rectangle are equal in length which makes it different from a square.
- Square is a quadrilateral in which all its sides have equal length and all the four corners are right angles.
- A diagonal is a line segment connecting two non-consecutive vertices of a polygon.

Here is your answer...
Given is Time = 2 years
Amount=₹1800
Principal = ₹1250
Rate = ?
The formula to calculate amount is
=A = P(1 + R/100)T
=1800 = 1250 × (1+ R/100)2
=1800/1250 = (1+ R/100)2
=√(36/25) = 1+ R/100
=6/5 - 1 = R/100
=1/5 × 100 = R
=20 = R
Therefore, the rate is 20%.
