Man′s new salary in rupees =154000
Increase in his salary =10%
Let his original salary in rupees is x.
Then,
154000=x∗110/100

⇒x=154000∗11/10=140000
So, Man′s original salary is 140000 rupees.

  1. ABCD is a parallelogramdiagonals AC and BD intersect at O.
  2. In triangles AOD and COB,
  3. DAO = BCO (alternate interior angles)
  4. AD = CB.
  5. ADO = CBO (alternate interior angles)
  6. AOD COB (ASA)
  7. Hence, AO = CO and OD = OB (c.p.c.t)
  8. Thus, the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

Let's assume the sides of the square garden is x meters

∴ (x + 1)(x + 3) -  = 19

=>  + 3x + x + 3 -  = 19

=> 4x = 19 - 3 = 16

∴ x = 4

1.  Correct Option is c) 4m

2. After Mohan enlarges his garden, Width = 4 + 1 = 5m and Length = 4 + 3 = 7m

According to the problem, the Number of flowers every width side is 5 and that is length side = 7.

∴ Maximum number of flowers that can be planted = 5 x 7 = 35.

∴ Correct Option is b) 35 flowers.
