Government need to take some necessary steps to ensure everyone receive better healthcare facilities. • More number of hospital, healthcare centers and family welfare centers must be set up. • Workshops, seminars and training camps must be organized to spread awareness among people. • Organizing health checkup camps at regular interval for taking care of general people. • Pulse polio campaigns etc. must be organized. : (i) Establishing public healthcare at zonal level. Tawa Matsya Sangh is a federation of fishworkers’ cooperatives. It is an organisation fighting for the rights of displaced forest dwellers of the Satpura forest in Madhya Pradesh. In 1994, the government gave private contractors the rights to fish in the Tawa reservoir. However, these contractors drove the local people away and got cheap labour from outside for their work. Also, the contractors threatened the villagers, who were unwilling to leave, by bringing in hoodlums. The villagers stood united and decided that they had to set up an organisation and do something to protect their rights. This is how the Tawa Matsya Sangh (TMS) was formed. The Sangh organised rallies and a chakka jam (road blockade). In this manner, they demanded their right to continue fishing for their livelihood.

Sometimes when we eat outside food which is not recognised by the taste buds and the stomach or we do overeating the food which is swallowed is not accepted or is rejected by the stomach and is unwanted, it returns to the mouth and as a result we have vomitting sensation which leads to vomitting or the excreation of the unwanted food particles by the stomach directly taken out through the mouth.

The Election Commission of India is an autonomous constitutional authority responsible for administering election processes in India. To treat wasp stings Wasp Sting’s venom is basic in nature, applying vinegar to the sting neutralizes the sting as vinegar is acidic in nature. To treat acidity or gastric patients Acidity or gastric problems arise due to an increase of acid in the stomach, Anti-acids or antacids are medicines containing bases such as NaCHO3 (sodium bicarbonate) Mg(OH)2 (magnesium hydroxide) neutralize excess of acid in the stomach. To treat acidic or basic soils Plants don’t grow well if the soil is too acidic or too basic. To neutralize acidic soils, bases like ash of burnt wood, CaO, CaCO3, etc are added. Similarly, basic soils are neutralized. To treat tooth decay or cavities Most food particles are acidic in nature. For example, lemonade, chocolate, etc. Such foods produce acid in our mouth which reacts with enamel i.e. calcium phosphate and leads to cavities. Using toothpaste while brushing helps to neutralize the acid since toothpaste is a base. To treat bee stings Bee stings contain formic acid and are acidic in nature, these stings can be neutralized by applying a base like baking soda. To prevent coagulation of latex In the rubber industry, ammonia solution, NH4OH, is used to prevent the coagulation of latex because ammonia solution, NH4OH, can neutralize the acid (lactic acid) produced by bacteria in the latex.
