Spectrum is a band of colours, as seen in a rainbow, produced by separation of the components of light by their different degrees of refraction according to wavelength.
A spectrum is also a condition that is not limited to a specific set of values but can vary infinitely within a continuum. The word was first used scientifically within the field of optics to describe the rainbow of colors in visible light when separated using a prism.

Rashtrakutas were one of India’s greatest ever empires in history. Their place of origin was Lattalura or the modern day Latur district in Maharashtra. However, this was a Kannada speaking region back then and hence, the Rashtrakutas were Kannadigas. In fact, all their inscriptions are either in Sanskrit or Kannada.

During winters, we prefer wearing more layers of clothing than just one thick piece of clothing because air gets trapped in between the various clothing layers. Being a poor conductor of heat, air prevents heat loss from our body. Hence, layers of clothing keep us warmer than a single layer.
