0 is a number used in maths numerical system. 0 is a whole number. 0 is greater than every negative integer and greater than every positive integer. 0 is neither prime nor composite. 0 is very important in the numerical system because if 0 is not there the counting never go up from 9.

0 is both a number and the numerical digit used to represent that number in numerals. It fulfills a central role in mathematics as the additive identity of the integers, real numbers, and many other algebraic structures. As a digit, 0 is used as a placeholder in place value systems

Given: The side of the square park = 60 m The length of the rectangular park = 90 m According to the question, Area of square park = Area of rectangular park ⇒ side x side = length x breadth ⇒ 60 x 60 = 90 x breadth ⇒ breadth = 60×6090 = 40 m Thus, the breadth of the rectangular park is 40 m

Length (l) of garden = 90 m

Breadth (b) of garden = 75 m

Area of garden = l × b = 90 × 75 = 6750 m2

From the figure, it can be observed that the new length and breadth of the garden, when path is also included, are 100m and 85m respectively.

Area of the garden including the path = 100 × 85 = 8500 m2

Area of path = Area of the garden including the path − Area of garden

= 8500 − 6750 = 1750 m2

1 hectare = 10000 m2

Therefore, area of garden in hectare

=6750/10000

=0.675

Both Buddhism and Jainism became popular among the people, especially traders and craftsmen. This was because of three reasons:

1. They were easy to practise.

2. Buddha and Mahavira preached in the language commonly spoken by the people. Their teachings were thus easily understood.

3. Both did not believe in the caste system. People from the lower castes were attracted by the idea of social equality.

Aim: To show the presence of Carbon dioxide in air

Apparatus: Lime water is placed in a test tube which is provided by two outlets A and B

Procedure: Air is sucked slowly from the outlet B.

Observation: The lime water in the test tube turns milky.

Conclusion: On sucking air from outlet B, the atmospheric air is allowed to enter through the inlet A which further passes in the lime water. Thus, the atmospheric air contains Carbon dioxide which reacts with lime water and turns it milky.

As India is a democratic country, so media plays a very important role. People have a fundamental right to speech which means they have the right to express their views freely. If the media is used correctly to express the view of the public to the government and it can help the government to take the decisions which are desired by the people. It can help the government to bring awareness about schemes and policies to the people. Example- Right to Information Act, Right to Education Act etc.

Media gives news and discusses events that are happening in the entire world. Based on this people can understand how the government is functioning. These news stories are the basis on which people in a democracy can take action against the government’s policies and decisions by organizing public protests, starting signature campaigns etc thereby asking the government to rethink its decisions.

Smaller castes, or jatis, emerged within varnas. Many tribes and social groups were taken into caste - based society and given the status of jatis. Specialised artisans - smiths, carpentars and masons - were also recognised as seperate jatis by the brahmans. Jatis, rather than varna, became the basis for organising society
