Those changes in which new substances are formed are called chemical changes. The properties of new substances formed in a chemical changes are entirely different from those of the original substances. Chemical changes are also called as chemical reactions. The chemical changes are permanent changes which can usually not be reversed to form the original substance. Large amount of energy is absorbed or lost during the process.

A clause is a group of words with a subject-verb unit; the 2nd group of words contains the subject-verb unit the bus goes, so it is a clause. A phrase is a group of words without a subject-verb unit. It has no verb, so it can't have a subject-verb unit.
