Use of high tide: -
1. Due to the tide, the growth and degradation of water is being used to generate electricity in some places.
2.) Assistance in fishing More fish come near the edge during high tide. It enables fishermen to capture in abundance.
3. Help in Navigation.
4. Raise water level near the edges which helps ships to reach the harbor more easily.
5. TIDES are mainly used for the generation of tidal electricity.

Area of room = 5.5 × 4 = 22.0 m2
area of room + verandah= (5.5+2.25+2.25) × (4+2.25+2.25) = 85m2
therefore area of verandah only = 85 - 22 = 63m2
