We all must have observed newly bought iron, a silver or copper article appears very shiny but with passage of time they get dull. This is due to the layer of metal oxide that develops on their surface. Rusting of iron, silver jewellery getting tarnished or copper articles getting covered by green layer. Metals react with atmospheric oxygen and produces metal oxides that are basic in nature because they react with water to form bases.
- In case of rusting of iron, the iron reacts with the oxygen present in air and moisture and develops rust (hydrated iron (III) oxide).

Water cycle is the cyclic movement of water from the atmosphere to the earth and back to the atmosphere through various processes. This constant, never ending circulation of water in nature is known as the water cycle.
The process includes:
Evaporation: Water in seas, rivers, lakes, ponds or streams evaporates because of the heat of the sun.
Transpiration: Plants give out a large amount of water through their leaves
Condensation: Water vapor rises up and condenses on dust particles to form cloud.
Precipitation: Water stored in clouds reaches the ground in the form of rain, hail or snow.

Hawkers do not have permanent shops whereas shop owners have permanent shops. They generally sell items like vegetables and fruits. Their income levels are less than that of shop owners. Even the expenses (like rent electricity, wages to workers, etc.) that they have to bear are much less than that of shop owners.
