Both Omprakash Valmiki and the Ansaris were victims of un- equal treatment. The dignity or self-respect of both of them was violated. The headmaster of Omprakash Valmiki compelled him to sweep the school simply because he belonged to the Dalit. The dignity of Omprakash was badly hurt. He was made to feel that he was less than equal to all other students in the school. The self-respect of the Ansaris was also hurt badly when they were refused to lease an apartment because of their religion. Omprakash and the Ansaris are also human beings and they too deserve the same dignity as anyone else.

Laws of India refers to the system of law across the Indian nation. India maintains a hybrid legal system with a mixture of civil, common law and customary, Islamic ethics, or religious law within the legal framework inherited from the colonial era and various legislation first introduced by the British are still in effect in modified forms today. Since the drafting of the Indian Constitution, Indian laws also adhere to the United Nations guidelines on human rights law and the environmental law. Indian personal law is fairly complex, with each religion adhering to its own specific laws. In most states, registering of marriages and divorces is not compulsory. Separate laws govern Hindus including Sikhs, Jain's and Buddhist, Muslims, Christians, and followers of other religions. The exception to this rule is in the state of Goa, where a uniform civil code is in place, in which all religions have a common law regarding marriages, divorces, and adoption. In the first major reformist judgment for the last decade, the Supreme Court of India banned the Islamic practice of "Triple Talaq" (divorce by uttering of the "Talaq" word thrice by the husband).[1] The landmark Supreme Court of India judgment was welcomed by women activists across India.[2] As of January 2017, there were about 1,248 laws.[3] However, since there are Central laws as well as State laws, it is difficult to ascertain their exact numbers as on a given date and the best way to find the Central Laws in India is from the official website

Our body cannot prepare food due to the absence of chlorophyll pigment. This is the only pigment that can absorb solar radiation. Without solar energy, photosynthesis cannot be possible. Thus even presence of carbon dioxide, water or minerals in human body cannot allow to prepare food due to lack of chlorophyll pigments.

Water cycle is defined as the way that water moves between being water vapor to liquid water and then back to water vapor. An example of water cycle is when water evaporates from oceans and then returns to the land in the form of rain. There are four main stages in the water cycle. They are evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection. Let's look at each of these stages. Evaporation: This is when warmth from the sun causes water from oceans, lakes, streams, ice and soils to rise into the air and turn into water vapour (gas).

Mercury is the only one in liquid state at room temperature. It's used in thermometers because it has high coefficient of expansion. ... It also has a high boiling point which makes it very suitable to measure higher temperatures. Also, it has a shiny appearance and doesn't stick to the glass surface of glass.

We all know that most metals are good conductors of heat, electricity and are solid at room temperature. Mercury is the only metal that is in liquid state at room temperature. It is used in thermometers because it has a high coefficient of expansion which makes it easy to move in the thermometers as per the temperatures. Mercury has a boiling point which makes it suitable to measure higher temperatures. In a mercury thermometer, a glass tube is filled with mercury and a standard temperature scale is marked. The mercury expands and contracts with the changes in the temperature. The mercury thermometers are used in laboratory experiments, households and industrial applications.
