Public health is one of the greatest things in which a government can invest. Early prevention, which is relatively inexpensive, can prevent dire and expensive health care problems later in life. Early in their development, both Minnesota and the United States recognized the role of the government in protecting the public's health, and each entity makes reference to this in their constitutions as part of a "general welfare" clause. Public health promotes the welfare of the entire population, ensures its security and protects it from the spread of infectious disease and environmental hazards, and helps to ensure access to safe and quality care to benefit the population. Governmental responsibilities for public health extend beyond voluntary activities and services to include additional authorities such as quarantine, mandatory immunization laws, and regulatory authorities.

Some plants eat insects. Such plants are called insectivorous plants. They trap and digest the insects. Pitcher plant is the example of an insectivorous plant. In pitcher plant the leaf is modified to form a pitcher like structure. The bright colour of the pitcher makes it very attractive to insects. Inside the pitcher; there are several hair-like structures. These hairs direct the trapped insects downwards. When an insect sits on the pitcher of the plant, the lid closes and the insect gets trapped inside the pitcher. The insect is then digested by the enzymes secreted by the cells of the plants.

Insectivoures plants lives in areas which have lack of nitrogen and other minerals. So as to live in such a surrounding they have to have special features that can then them survive so they have differnt functions like they smell and also sometimes are beautifully coloured to attract the insect. The Criterion for Congruence of Triangles 1. SSS Criterion(Side-Side-Side) This criterion says that the two triangles will be congruent if their corresponding sides are equal. 2. SAS Criterion(Side-Angle-Side) This criterion says that the two triangles will be congruent if their corresponding two sides and one included angle are equal. 3. All hot bodies emit heat by the process of radiation. Radiation of heat does not require a medium. Sunlight comes to the earth because of radiation as there is no medium present between the atmosphere of the earth and the sun.

One can feel the heat of bonfire by standing around it. We get warmth from the room heater because of radiation.

A solution which does not change the colour of blue litmus paper can be either basic or neutral in nature. The nature of the solution can be confirmed by placing a drop on red litmus paper.
