Dilution of concentrated acid is an exothermic process. If water is added to a concentrated acid, the heat generated may cause the mixture to splash out and cause burns. When the acid is added to water slowly with constant stirring, the mixture will not splash out.

A state is divided into several constituencies on the basis of population. Every constituency elects one representative for the Legislative Assembly. The person elected as representative represents that particular constituency. He/She is called as a Member of Legislative Assembly i.e. MLA. An MLA is elected through a general election. There are two types of parasites- ectoparasites and endoparasites. Endoparasites live inside the host which include heartworm and flatworms. Ectoparasites live on the hosts which include lice and fleas.
