The author visited the shop so infrequently because the boots made by Mr Gessler lasted for a long time. They had something beyond the temporary, some essence of boot stitched into them. The author knew that Mr Gessler made good quality boots. Every single pair of boots was good enough to last a long time. He came to know from Mr Gessler himself that in spite of his love for his job he could not get much work. This was because people preferred buying boots from big firms.

Human being, a culture-bearing primate classified in the genus Homo, especially the species H. sapiens. Human beings are anatomically similar and related to the great apes but are distinguished by a more highly developed brain and a resultant capacity for articulate speech and abstract reasoning. Traditionally, humans were considered the sole recent representatives of the family Hominidae, but recent findings indicate that chimpanzees and bonobos are more closely related to humans than are gorillas and orangutans and that the last common ancestor between the chimpanzee and human lines lived sometime between seven million and six million years ago. Therefore, all great apes are now gathered with humans into Hominidae, and within that family humans and their extinct ancestors are considered to make up the tribe Hominini. See also Homo sapiens; human evolution.

Omprakash Valmiki and the Ansaris were being treated unequally on the basis of caste and religion. The self-respect and dignity of Omprakash Valmiki and the Ansaris were attacked.
Om Prakash was from the dalit community who was not allowed to sit together with his other classmates in the classroom. He was also asked to sweep the school floors and playground, unlike his other classmates.
On the other hand, the Ansaris were not given a place on rent because of their religion.
Both of them were victims of unequal treatment.

The difference between multiprocessing and multi programming is that Multiprocessing is basically executing multiple processes at the same time on multiple processors, whereas multi programming is keeping several programs in main memory and executing them concurrently using a single CPU only. Sharing the processor, when two or more programs reside in memory at the same time, is referred as multiprogramming. Multiprogramming assumes a single shared processor. Multiprogramming increases CPU utilization by organizing jobs so that the CPU always has one to execute.

The Rashtrakutas in the Deccan were the subordinate to the Chalukyas of Karnataka. It was during the mid-18th century when Dantidurga, a Rashtrakuta chief, overthrew his Chalukya overlord and performed a ritual called ‘Hiranya-garbha’ with the help of Brahmanas. During this period, it was thought that the sacrifcer would be reborn as a Kshatriya, even if he was not one by birth. Also, they fought against the dynasties of Gurjara Pratihara and Palas. Thus, successfully establishing kingdoms in Karnataka and Rajasthan respectively.
