Land breeze blows during the night from land to sea and the land becomes cooler faster than the sea. The air above the sea becomes less dense (i.e. warmer) and rises. The cooler air from the land moves in to take its place. Sea breeze: Sea breeze blows during the day and the land heats up faster than the sea. The land gets heated up by the heat radiated by the sun, much faster than the water during daytime. This heats up the air over the land and it expands and hence the hot air rises up and creates a vacuum. ... And hence the cool air moves from the land to the sea and is known as the land breeze.

The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is often written as P = 2l + 2w, where l is the length of the rectangle and w is the width of the rectangle. The area of a two-dimensional figure describes the amount of surface the shape covers. You measure area in square units of a fixed size. Perimeter is the distance around the outside of a shape. Area measures the space inside a shape. The perimeter is the length of the outline of a shape. To find the perimeter of a rectangle or square you have to add the lengths of all the four sides. x is in this case the length of the rectangle while y is the width of the rectangle.

A Cyclone is a large scale air mass that rotates around strong centers of low pressure.
- Water vapors are formed when water is heated.
- This heat is released to atmosphere when water vapors convert to water during rains.
- The heat released, warms the air around and makes it to move up. This also results in decreased air pressure.
- Hence, cooler air from surrounding rushes to take the warm air’s place.
- This repeats till a low pressure system with surrounding high speed winds is created. This is called a Cyclone.
- Cyclone depends on wind speed, direction, temperature and humidity.
Cyclones are also called Hurricane in USA and Typhoon in Japan and Philippines
