Manas Bisay 5 years, 5 months ago

In a reversible physical change, the original form of the matter can be restored. In an irreversible physical change, the original form cannot be restored. Melting ice and grinding wood into sawdust are examples of physical changes.

What would you like to ask? CHEMISTRY Three liquids are given to you. One is hydrochloric acid, another is sodium hydroxide and the third is a sugar solution. How will you identify them. You have only turmeric paper indicator. Share Study later ANSWER Turmeric solution turns red in contact with bases and is not affected by acids and neutral substances. Put one drop of each liquid as the turmeric paper. The liquid whose drop turns the paper red is solution hydroxide (base). Now, this red turmeric paper may be used to identify which one of the remaining two liquids is hydrochloric acid. Put one drop of each of these remaining liquid on the red turmeric paper. The liquid whose drop will turn this red paper yellow is hydrochloric acid. This colour changes from red to yellow because hydrochloric acid neutralizes the pH effect of sodium hydroxide on turmeric paper. There is no effect on turmeric solution by sugar solution.

Rain is liquid precipitation: water falling from the sky. Raindrops fall to Earth when clouds become saturated, or filled, with water droplets. Millions of water droplets bump into each other as they gather in a cloud. When a small water droplet bumps into a bigger one, it condenses, or combines, with the larger one

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

Precipitation that comes down to the earth in the liquid form is called rain. Most of the ground water comes from rain. Plants help in preserving water. A rain gauge measures the amount of rainfall.

low tides are caused by the Moon. The Moon's gravitational pull generates something called the tidal force. The tidal force causes Earth—and its water—to bulge out on the side closest to the Moon and the side farthest from the Moon.

A physical change, such as a state change or dissolving, does not create a new substance, but a chemical change does. In a chemical reaction, the atoms and molecules that interact with each other are called reactants. ... No new atoms are created, and no atoms are destroyed.
