ABCD is a parallelogram.
CD∥AB
∴ CD∥AE [ Extended part of parallel side ]
⇒ Area of parallelogram ABCD=AB×CE [ Since, CE situated between same parallel lines ]
=12×6.2
=744cm2 ---- ( 1 )
⇒ Area of a parallelogram ABCD=AD×BF
=8×BF ----- ( 2 )
Comparing ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) we get,
⇒ 8×BF=744
⇒ BF=744/8
=93cm
∴ The area of parallelogram ABCD is 744cm2 and the length of BF is 93cm.

The Arithmetic Mean is the average of the numbers: a calculated "central" value of a set of numbers.
To calculate it:
• add up all the numbers,
• then divide by how many numbers there are.
Example: The mean of 2, 7 and 9?
Add the numbers: 2 + 7 + 9 = 18
Divide by how many numbers (i.e. we added 3 numbers): 18 ÷ 3 = 6
So the mean is 6

A rational number, in Mathematics, can be defined as any number which can be represented in the form of p/q where q ≠ 0. Also, we can say that any fraction fits under the category of rational numbers, where the denominator and numerator are integers and the denominator is not equal to zero.
