Domingos Paes came to India in the time of Krishnadevaraya, the most powerful king Vijayanagara Empire ever had. Domingo Paes was a Portuguese traveller who visited Vijayanagara Empire around the year 1520. He witnessed not just the wealth of Vijayanagara but also the most gallantly fought battles in the history of Vijayanagara --The Battle of Raichur between the grand army of Krishna Deva Raya and Adil Shah of Bijapur.

Some authors revised their chronicles at different times. The fourteenth century chronicler Ziyauddin Barani wrote his chronicle first in 1356 and wrote another version two years later. Both the versions differ from each other. Historians were not aware of the existence of the earlier version till the 1960s because it remained lost in large library collections.

The Rashtrakutas in the Deccan were the subordinate to the Chalukyas of Karnataka. It was during the mid-18th century when Dantidurga, a Rashtrakuta chief, overthrew his Chalukya overlord and performed a ritual called ‘Hiranya-garbha’ with the help of Brahmanas. During this period, it was thought that the sacrifcer would be reborn as a Kshatriya, even if he was not one by birth. Also, they fought against the dynasties of Gurjara Pratihara and Palas. Thus, successfully establishing kingdoms in Karnataka and Rajasthan respectively.

The members of the Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) are granted legislative powers by the constitution. The laws pertaining to the subjects mentioned in the state and concurrent lists can be made by the Assembly.

जो किसी गांव में बाहर से आता था, और जो उस समाज या संस्कृति का हिस्सा नहीं होता था। अतः किसी गांव या नगर वासी के लिए बनवासी "विदेशी" होता था । परंतु एक ही गांव में रहने वाले दो अलग-अलग धर्मों तथा परंपराओं से जुड़े लोग विदेशी नहीं होते थे।

An important aspect of India secularism is that the State can intervene in religious affairs. We can prove this fact with an example of untouchability. It was a practice in which the members of the same religion, i.e. upper caste Hindus, dominated other members, i.e. lower caste people, within it. In order to prevent this religion-based exclusion and discrimination of lower castes, the Indian Constitution banned untouchability. In this instance, the State intervened in religion in order to end a social practice that it believed discriminated and excluded and that violated the Fundamental Rights of Lower castes

The three objectives of a secular State are stated below:
(i)One religious community does not dominate another.
(ii)Some members do not dominate other members of the same religious community.
(iii)The State does not enforce any particular religion nor does it take away the religious freedom of individuals.
