On Feb 1922,some supporters of Gandhiji got violant and burnt the police station located at chauri-chaura(Gorakhpur dist of u.p)in which day hurt by the incident and withdrew the non-cooperation movement. In 1924-Gandhiji was released from jails after getting released from jail, Gandhiji devoted himself to the four-fold constructive programs they are-1)promotion of home-spun khod. (2)Abolution of untouchability. (3)Promotion of Hindu Muslim City.
