Because if Silver Chloride (AgCl) is kept in sunlight, it decomposes into Silver (Ag) and Chloride (Cl). So, to avoid this process (reaction), Silver Chloride is kept in dark coloured bottle. The chemical equation of this reaction is as follows- 2AgCl(s)-> 2Ag(s) + Cl2(g)
