Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the same or different flower. The two types of pollination are :- Self pollination and cross pollination. Self pollination: in this type of pollination the pollen grains are transferred from the anther to the stigma of the same flower. Cross pollination: In this type of pollination the pollen grains are transferred from anther to stigma to the different flower. The two agents responsible for pollination are insect and wind.
