first we find the zeros of given polynomial by splitting the middle term method. =x²+2x+x+2 =x(x+2)+1(x+1) =(x+2)(x+1) x= -2 or x=-1 so alpha = -2 and Beta = -1 now alpha+1 = -2+1 = -1 beta+1 = -1+1 = 0 we know that a quadratic equation can be written in the form of x²-(sum of zeros)x+ (product of zeros)=0 so the required polynomial is x²-(-1+0)x+(-1x0)=0 x²+x=0
