LCM(280,x)=14HCF(280,x)------1 LCM+HCF=600 LCM=600-HCF--------2 From 1 and 2 600-HCF=14HCF 600=15HCF HCF=40 LCM=14×40 LCM=560 Now, LCM×HCF=280×x 560×40=280x x=80 Hope this helps
