Cell division takes place under two phases which are 1.interphase 2.m. phase(mitosis or meiosis? Now first of all i will clear you the meanings of these terms Interphase- also known as preparation phase in this phase cell prepare itself for division like protein synthesis, replication or cell organelles and centrosome replication and many more ..thus it divided into further 3 parts -G1,S,G2... Now m. Phase turn , this phase divided into 2 zones 1.karyokinesis 2.cytokinesis In karyokinesis nucleus replication takes place and then in cytokinesis cell cytoplasm divide When you study this chapter deeply from ncert you will find that karyokinesis further divided into 4 stages and those are Prophase Metaphase Anaphase Telophase I think now you will get good amount of information regarding this topic.. 🌻
