    a3= 15 I.e. a+2d=15 -----eq.1 S10=125 i.e. 125=10/2 [2a+(10-1)d] 125=5[2a+(9)d] 125/5=2a+9d 2a+9d=25-------eq.2 Multiply eq.1 by 2 2(a+2d=15) 2a+4d=30------eq.3 By elimination method On subtracting eq 2 from eq.3 2a+4d=30 - 2a+9d=25 -: -5d=5 d=-1 Put d=-1 in eq.1 a+2×-1=15 a-2=15 a=15+2 a=17 Now, a10=a+9d =17+9×-1 =17-9 a10=8
