Which type of agriculture is known as slash and burn agriculture? What is the main disadvantage of this type farming?

Primitive Subsistence Farming is known as Slash and burn farming . In this type of agriculture, tribals clear a patch of forests land and burn it for their agriculture practice. When the soil fertility decreases , farmers leave the patch idle for few years and shift to a new patch of land to do the same activity. DISADVANTAGE In this type of farming , land productivity is low as the farmers does not use fertilizers or other modern inputs.
