The area of rectangular plot is 528 m².The length of the plot ( in meters ,)is one more than twice it's breadth. We need to find the length and breadth of the plot

    Let the breadth= x Length= 2x +1 Area =528m^2 2x^2 + x - 528 =0 2x^2 -32x+33x - 528=0 2x(x-16)+33(x-16)=0 (2x+33) (x-16)=0 2x-33=0 2x =-33 X =-33/2 We rejected X -16 =0 X =16 Hence the breadth= x =16 Length= 2x +1 = 2×16+1 =32+1=33
