For example There is a pool of 90m long. A girl move from one end to another end and then come back to one end only . She covered distance approximate 180m as 90m +90m=180m but she stop at the from where she start .So , there is no short distance. Thus , displacement can be zero

Displacement means shortest distance covered by a body. Yes, it can be a zero Displacement. For example : In a cicle , A person moves from point A and end at point A also . The initial position and the final position is A point only . So, this proves that displacement can be zero
