HOMOGENOUS MIXTURES = The components of such mixtures are evenly distributed across the volume of the mixture. As no boundary of separation exist between these components, they can't be separated by simple physical methods. HETEROGENOUS MIXTURES = These mixtures actually have a concrete boundary of separation between it's components and are not so evenly distributed. They can be separated physically.
