In aqueous solution, there is a very prominent possibility (which is 100%, theoretically) that NaCl may dissociate into Na+ and Cl- ions. So, since it is the number of particles of the solute in the solvent that tends to cause an elevation in the BP of the latter, NaCl an ionisable solute (with its two constituent ions) can produce double the impact (∆Tb) than in the case of glucose (a non ionisable organic solute).
