Blood is a fluid which contains RBC, WBC, and plasma. It is red because of the presence of RBC which contains a red pigment called haemoglobin

Blood is a medium through which nutrient ,oxygen etc supplied throughout the body.It is red due to the presenve of RBC Red blood cell which are red in colour and it is also a mojor constituents of blood.
