Genes are hereditary unit that helps to transfers the characteristics of parents to their offsprings or next generation , like we see that style of walking of parents similar to their children , this is due to the genes . Genes are present in chromosome that can be seen when cell have to divide and chromatid material condense into chromosomes .

Genes are the unit of humidity. It is the segment of the DNA on the chromosome that works in a pair and governs the synthesis of a protein that is ultimately responsible for controlling a particular character. Location of gene Cell--Nucleus----Chromosome-----DNA---Gene(A segment of DNA).
