Metal are electropositive they loose electron with other element whereas hydrogen is non metal but it has valency 1 it loose electron and act as electropositive like metal,due to this reason hydrogen is place in the reactivity series of metal

Maybe, because it has the power of displacing other metal and removing by other metal. This reason we can add hydrogen to reactivity series.
