• a chart is a graphical representation of data in ws. • it helps to provide a better understanding of larger quantities of data. • charts make it easier to draw comparison, see growth, and relationship among the values and trends in data.

Charts: These are graphical representation of numerical data. Components: x axis - category axis y axis- value axis Data series - set of values chart area - Total area surrounded by the chart Legend - Helps to identify various lotted area Gridlines - Horizontal and vertical lines data label - This is the label that provides additional information about data maker which represents single data item or value coming from worksheet cell.
