Wire in square shape Perimeter of square=4×side =4×10 =40cm Area of square = side×side =10×10 =100sq cm Wire in rectangle shape Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b) =2×(12+b) 40cm=24+2b 40cm-24÷2 b=16÷2 b=8cm Area of rectangle=l×b =24×8 =192sq cm So, Rectangle encloses more area than square
