1st of all.... Increasing the carbon no. In the main chain Cl–(CH2)4–Cl + 2KCN ~~~ NC–CH2)4–CN Then reduction of nitrile to amine NC–(CH2)4–CN + H²/Ni ~~~ H³N–(CH2)6–NH³ I hope it helps :D
