let √2is a rational number where A and B are co- prime no so, √2=a/b on squaring both side we get 2=a²/b² 2b²=a² 2divides a²=2 divide a a=2c (i) from equation 1 we get 2b²=4a 2 divides 4a = 2 divide 4 so, 2 is a common factor of A and B . from this contriduct √2 is a rational number. hence, √2 is a rational number . 😍😘😍
