FUNCTIONS •The world trade organisation is the only organisation that sets up rule for global trade. •It regulates the global trade and resolves the trade Conflicts between member countries. CRITICISM • WTO often faces criticism because it is dominated by superpowers like USA , Japan and European union. • it's decisions are often influenced by the policies and ideologies of these powerful countries. • it does not work for the economic development of developing countries . • it neglects the environmental concerns labour laws etc.
