i Technical inputs resulted in the green revolution in sixties and seventies of the twentieth century. ii High yielding and early maturing variety of seeds have been used. iii Instead of bio-fertilizers chemical fertilizers are used. iv Flooding of fields are replaced by drip irrigation and the use of sprinklers.
