If the original length and the cross-sectional area of the wire are landA, respectively, then R=ρlA or 20Ω=ρlA. When the length becomes 2l and cross-sectional area is A/2. Rnew=ρ(2l)A/2=4(ρl/A)=4(20Ω)=80Ω
