AB²=98
AC=BC. (since it is an isosceles triangle, two sides are equal)
by Pythagoras theorem,
AB² = AC² + BC²
we know AC = BC,
therefore substitute
AB² = AC² + AC²
98 = 2AC²
98/2 = AC²
49 = AC²
therefore,. AC = √49
AC = 7
AC = BC = 7
